The Mercedes C Class Coupe, a four seater convertible is to be unveiled later this year and sold in 2016. It is expected to debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Mercedes see this two door coupe as a response to the BMW 4 series. A bolt on piece gives the Coupe a BMW 6 Series looking trunk as a nod to BMW. With a choice of turbocharged petrol and diesel engines the car is likely to be popular among die hard Mercedes fans.
Mercedes C Class Coupe 2015 unveiled
Although similar in design to current C Class vehicles such as the front end, there are some new elements including the elongated bonnet and stretched back lights. A deeply raked screen and lower slopping roofline also reveal some design changes. Overall the car is lower, wider and sportier and the sculpting is more emphasized. Mercedes call it muscular, agile and stylish and it certainly looks that way. It’s upright louvred radiator grille with a central star and strong shoulders give this model a really bold and dynamic look. Available in four petrol and diesel variants it also comes with optional extras of ECO start/stop functions and 7G Tronic plus automatic transmission.
